Striped of any makeup first thing in the morning and exposed (Including my freckles) :- A snapshot to motivate my health and wellness goals. Your skin is the most important immune barrier, you have so it pays to look after it. It is also a indicator of inner health and oh boy I have some good habits to get back and others I want to change especially being in the 40's. Becoming disabled in 2012 really threw me and everything I was/did. But this is not going to be about that, it's just what derailed me. The last thing I want is additional ill health ontop of being physically disabled. I'm in inviting people to take a snapshot of their face up close to put in their journal and then to mark 30 days from now where you will be doing the same thing.
Overall anything white in the cupboard like flour etc switch up for wholemeal. White flour, pasta etc is carbohydrates that have been stripped of fiber and most of its nutrients including any form of white rice. Im guilty of the white flour and I have no idea of when why that creeped in lol :) Here's an easy way to hit the fibermark that started last week and now use;
An exercise I used to get clients to do when I worked as a dietician was to get them to food diary but here is an easy way. List everything you ate in the last 24 hours, get a calorie calculator or look up online how much fiber is each item you ate. If you are consuming white foods inc rice and or on a meater/high protein diet you will prob be amazed on how little you are getting as far as fiber. High protein/low fiber diets not only lead to constant states of constipation but also high risks in cancer/disease as you age... Also stools should pass easily at least twice a day, zero effort. Take up the fiber challenge note your diary and lets see how we all go in 30 days from now and dont forget to consume plenty of filtered water along the way (Dont wait until your thirsty) Druid and witch of the old ways, Ravenmor Fox A reply to someone on #veganism vs #vegetarianism...
:) Well Veganism is a way of the old druids. Im a druid not just a witch and one of the old ways. We have no issue with killing enemies. If I had any issues with veganism it is those who push it also push other political bullshyte that is hurtful to our European Race. Hens have prolapsed reproductive systems due to being bred to produce the eggs they do and then there is the health implications. I did 11 years of uni to have my masters in the fitness sciences which included 2 years in dietetics/specialist in performance nutrition. When I survived my road attack in 2012 I had no option than to go vegan from vegetarian. I was unable to walk for 15 months and had remove all excitotoxins from my diet. All animal produce contains high amounts of excitotoxins which is even linked to baldness in men. I had to relearn what I was taught at uni in many areas but did thanks to some amazing vegan researchers and doctors from the states and canada. The sad fact is the animal produce like dairy eggs etc and meat industry actual fund the majority of the nutritional studies at uni in order to manipulate and push their products which are not necessary. Collectively I have been an athlete for 30 years and coach/trainer/class instructor which included Russian powerlifting and bodybuilding for 25 years. I only stopped because of the broken neck and shattered hip injuries I sustained from my road attack by a muzzie in 2012 and have 4 or so hours of daily rehab to do just to contain slow down further degeneration and to manage the pain (I take no medication, opioids or even touch alcohol or even anything with caffeine for that matter). So it boils down to this question. "If it isn't necessary to consume/use animal products which includes their hormones/fats which are not compatible with our vegan human bodies (long intestines made for plant eating) then why do it?" It has been pushed on us since childhood. Mothers milk is for children, cows milk is for her calf, not humans especially grown adults. I also studied permaculture through oregon state and melbourne uni and the 'slavery of animals in closed loop circles is not essential for growing food etc. As a permaculturist I grow monster foods organically without the need of animal shit so to speak. Until we stop farming animals, we will never cease to be farmed ourselves by our respective governments and opportunist invaders. It is a mindset which stems from Abrahamic dominance and superiority complex which is a disease that has eventually destroyed our European societies in so many ways. There's a difference between having animals as family/pets & companions and using them for free labour so to speak. Plus agriculture and farming has not only destroyed our soil (we only have a few centimeters worldwide compared to 15 meters of nutrient rich soil) but has also been killing our oceans. We currently have deadzones in the ocean due to water runoff from farming and will have a dead ocean void of all life by 2045 at this rate. Clearing trees for farming destroys the soil also and also erodes gullies. Christianity and farming has been the most destructive force to Europeans partly due to their Abrahamic origin and also non-permanence. Permaculture is not only about permanence but also creating micro and macro systems that give back to the planet which funny enough the basis of old druidry which also includes 'ones' race. Part of the burning times was the destruction of our sacred trees and groves.. And yes the cake is divine will do a blog post on how it turned out.:) The rosewater gives a yummy musk stick taste without using musk (musk is harvested from the glands of Asian stags which are slaughtered just for this and are now endangered) We once had a planet in balance with a variety of creatures but now we have imbalances due to breeding 'farm animals' We have lost the 'diversity' of the animal kingdom. :) O/ July 1st 2018-07-01 By Druid & Witch, Ravenmor Fox ...
