A non heme iron calcium supplement & sweetener pick not raw - ☽ ✧ - Δ - ✧ ☾ - Okay not raw but I classify this as a supplement not just a sweetener with a power house of nutrients that is both vegan and non gmo. A good organic and concentrated molasses does this with a hint of tartness, just look at the iron (non heme (blood) source) & calcium content. Heme iron has been shown in recent research/anti cancer journals to increase risk of cancer (will put one of the links to journal at the end of the post). Ideally you want to consume on it’s own possible with vitamin c rich fruits, for physates limit absorption. Soaking nuts as in homemade nut milks limits this effect if wanting in a smoothie so forth. A tablespoon will slam dunk your requirements for calcium in a day & some without the hormones & antibodies all milk has. I have a tablespoon of this one every day and love it even straight from the spoon. Overall molasses is the by-product of sugarcane processing – the good twin to the evil sugarcane – which I actually use to make a sticky leg wax (natural beauty product option) Now not all black strap molasses has the same nutrient profile, it depends on how concentrated the syrup is, but I have summarized the nutritional profile of this organic version I get australia below.
